COVID-19 GUIDELINES

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I have put extra measures in place to ensure I can operate as safely as possible to reduce the risk of spreading infection. The following procedures will now apply.

YOUR APPOINTMENT:

  • You must complete a COVID-19 Screening & Declaration Form within the 24 hours prior to your appointment. Failure to do so will result in the appointment needing to be cancelled and rescheduled.

  • Arrive at the time of your appointment and wait in your vehicle until I come to collect you. DO NOT leave your vehicle until you see me at the gate and DO NOT ring the clinic doorbell.

  • A temperature check will be carried out and recorded your upon arrival using a contactless forehead thermometer. Should you display a temperature your appointment will be rescheduled.

  • Personal belongings must be kept to a minimum when visiting the clinic. A purse/wallet and phone will be permitted, however handbags/rucksacks and any other non essentials will not be.

  • You MUST wash/sanitise your hands upon entering the clinic. Handwashing facilities and hand sanitiser is provided.

  • All personal belongings will be stored in an airtight plastic container throughout the appointment. This includes: shoes, clothing, keys, phones, purse/wallet etc.

  • You MUST wear a face mask/face covering in line with government guidelines.

  • Towels/blankets will not be used during treatment sessions for the time being. Should you be susceptible to feeling cold you may bring your own CLEAN towel/blanket with you. Otherwise disposable couch roll will be used as needed.

SAFETY MEASURES:

  • All appointments are scheduled with at least 15 minutes between them to allow for cleaning and ventilation of the clinic. This will also prevent the 'crossover' of clients between appointments.

  • All non essential items have been removed from the clinic to allow for thorough cleaning of all areas/surfaces/high contact surfaces between clients.

  • I will be wearing PPE throughout your appointment.

  • A new hand towel dispenser and larger foot pedal operated bin have been installed.

  • All towels and couch covers have been removed. The couch will be covered using a wipeable cover and disposable couch roll/face hole covering.

  • All bolsters and support pillows used will be covered in wipeable material to allow for disinfecting between clients. Support pillow covers will be changed and cleaned between clients on a rotation basis to allow at least 2 hours between contact time.

  • Any fans/heaters used in clinic will not be 'air recirculating' thus aiding ventilation which will also be provided via the opening of windows. Clinic doors & windows will be opened during cleaning between each client to provide full ventilation.

  • I am encouraging ALL clients to use the NHS Test and Trace website should you test positive for COVID-19 OR come into contact with anyone known to have tested positive for COVID-19.

  • Payments will be taken via CARD/CONTACTLESS ONLY. NO CASH PAYMENTS will be accepted for the time being.

  • A Risk Assessment will be carried out and reviewed accordingly on a regular basis.

  • All current practices and procedures will be updated and reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with the most recent guidelines.

SHOULD YOU EXPERIENCE COVID-19 SYMPTOMS WITHIN THE 14 DAYS FOLLOWING YOUR APPOINTMENT PLEASE LET ME KNOW IMMEDIATELY!
