OSSM (DIP) Level 5, MISRM, MSMA, REPs Level 3, CF-L1
My mission is to support and help individuals who are experiencing pain due to postural imbalance, dysfunction or injury, and to identify and address the root cause in order to alleviate their symptoms and return them back to full optimum functionality, safely and efficiently.
I am a fully insured, professional Soft Tissue Therapist with a BTEC Level 5 Diploma from the Oxford School of Sports Massage. I am also a fully accredited member of the Institute for Soft Tissue Therapists and of The SMA (The Association for Soft Tissue Therapists). In addition, I am a Certified RockDoc offering Kinesiology Taping, I hold a Level 3 Personal Training certification with REPS and am a Certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.
With many years of personal experience using various training methods and managing associated injuries, I have a passion for sports injury rehabilitation and have worked with many recreational athletes to help them reach their fitness goals, improve their performance and rehabilitate from injury.
I also have a wealth of experience working with individuals who do not follow any regular fitness training but have suffered injuries in their day-to-day lives, such as rehabilitation from a broken shoulder, twisted ankle or painful lower back as well as general muscular pain and tightness, postural imbalances and dysfunctional movement patterns.
I developed an interest in recovery and rehabilitation following previous personal injuries to my knees and lower back which became more problematic as my training increased and I began competing as a recreational CrossFit athlete. Having experienced first hand how manipulative soft tissue therapy can have such a positive effect on the rate of recovery from injury I feel extremely fortunate that I am now able to help make that difference to others.
